Petal Ads, Huawei’s mobile advertising ecosystem, had a productive time at DMEXCO 2023 by unveiling cutting-edge solutions for creating effective digital campaigns. The event was attended by 800 international speakers, 40,000 international trade visitors and 650 exhibiting companies.
Petal Ads hosted a masterclass and booth to showcase its strategies and services and participated in a panel organized by the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) to attract high-value audiences.

Led by Jaime Gonzalo, the Petal Ads Masterclass emphasized the need to target high-quality users, and highlighted industry leaders from various sectors, including retail and automotive, who have successfully made inroads in China.
He explained that given Huawei’s deep knowledge, exclusive ownership of a large number of high-value users, and significant influence in this market, Petal Ads can help companies enter the Chinese market. According to the YouGov Global Best Brand Ranking 2022, Huawei is ranked top for popularity in China, with a 47.4% market share in foldable smartphones and exclusive access to 500 million monthly active users in China. Furthermore, the platform offers comprehensive support from languages and visuals to setup with a dedicated team in Europe.

The MMA panel featured industry experts who discussed the value of connecting with high-value audiences and explained that using first-party data is critical to achieving highly granular segmentation. Petal Advertising was represented by Alessandro Shintu, Director of Ecosystem Development and Operations at Huawei.
